There will always be differences

Englisch Version at the end!

At the moment a lot of disscussions are going on in the plus size commmunity. We have the "Crystal Renn - Thinnest Plus Size Model On The Planet"-Thing or the controversial lifestyle change of V.R. More and more people claims that health shoud be above it all and it is wrong to promote obesity by just accepting your fat body as it is.
I ask myself why people still have so many prejudices in their mind.

Just because I am fat, I don't hate skinny people.
Just because I want to see a girl on the fashion mag that is my size, it doesn't mean I mind looking at a size zero.

I try to invite the fashion industries to come over the beauty ideal that is totaly out of reach, and that is mostly promoted by the massive use of Photoshop, I'm not doing that because I envy skinny people or because I would feel better surrounded by people who all look like me. It just would be nice if the ideal of beauty would be a bit more diversified.

With my blog, I don't want to trigger people to stuff themselves with 3 cheesecream cakes and a maxi menu everyday (just like I do it daily, that's why I am looking the way I do), but because I wan to show that everyone can be interested in fashion, not depending on you size, shape or age. I would like to inspire woman who used to hide themselves, and show them that the world can turn the other way arround. And of course I want to disband the prejudices against fat people and show that we are not sitting infront of our TV all day, eating 1kg buckets of chicken wings.

If someone chooses to change their weight, no matter if s/he want to gain or loos weight, it's his/her personal decision. Living healthy and listen to what you body is telling you, is always a good way of living. But I wonder why simultaneously you try to convince everyone else to wake up from their blindness and see that they will ever be happy with their body if they just stay the way they are. That just shows how much we are influenced by the image the media dilivers to us every day: Someone over 80kg just can't be happy. It's nothing more than a pipe dream. No wonder people from the outside always question if we are really happy and not only pretending to be.
In the end all this doesn't just count for beeing fat. If I weigh less then 45kg I am anorexic, if I don't shave my legs and have short hair, I am a lesbian and if liking you wrinkles just isn't possible at all. If you choose your lipcolor matching to your dress, you are nothing more than a silly doll who is to much into fashion.

Our world is full of prejudices and I would love to disband evey single one, but that won't be possible nor it would be nessasary. What is important is that we finally open our eyes and minds and see that everyone is different. Our world is in the middle of this crises where on one hand individuality is requested but on the other the indurstry tried to make people more and more even. If you are different it's okay, but if you are more different than different, you are out.
